Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of the journal plays an operational role in the editing and publication process of scientific articles. Board members are actively involved in the peer-review process, editorial decision-making, and in shaping the thematic and content orientation of the journal.

Key responsibilities of the Editorial Board include:

  • Managing the peer-review process: Board members oversee and coordinate the review of submitted manuscripts.

  • Editorial decision-making: Providing recommendations on manuscript acceptance, rejection, or revision.

  • Defining the thematic scope of the journal: Suggesting special issues, new research directions, and relevant topics.

  • Maintaining scientific quality: Ensuring all published content meets high methodological and ethical standards.

  • Promoting the journal: Through academic networks, conferences, and the professional reputation of its members.

Advisory board 

The Advisory Board (also referred to as the Editorial Advisory Board) is a collegial body that provides expert and strategic support to the editorial team of the journal. Its members are responsible for:

  • Offering guidance on editorial policies and the thematic direction of the journal,

  • Preserving and enhancing the scientific quality of published content,

  • Promoting the journal within the academic community,

  • Supporting the peer-review process when needed,

  • Proposing special issues, thematic sections, or relevant contributing authors.

Key responsibilities of the Advisory Board include:

  • Strategic orientation: Recommending ways to improve the journal’s visibility, indexing, international collaboration, and content quality.

  • Subject-matter expertise: Ensuring that the journal addresses relevant and up-to-date topics within its scientific field.

  • Ethical oversight: Supporting the enforcement of high ethical standards in publishing (e.g., prevention of plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and research misconduct).

  • Reputation and credibility: The presence of respected scholars on the board enhances the journal’s credibility and its ability to attract high-quality submissions.

EDITORS FOR SPECIFIC THEMATIC AREAS 

Editors for specific thematic areas are responsible for overseeing the editorial process within their designated fields of expertise. As part of the journal’s editorial structure, they play a key role in maintaining the scientific quality, relevance, and integrity of the content published in their subject area.

Their role includes:

  • Evaluating submitted manuscripts within their area of expertise;

  • Selecting and contacting reviewers (experts capable of objectively assessing the quality of the manuscript);

  • Overseeing the peer-review process and facilitating communication between reviewers and authors;

  • Providing recommendations to the Editor-in-Chief regarding acceptance, rejection, or necessary revisions of manuscripts;

  • Ensuring the scientific quality and relevance of content within their thematic area;

  • Advising the Editor-in-Chief on the development of special issues or thematic collections.
